We are located at the centre of one of Europe’s premier medical device clusters. DeNovo currently provides support to over thirty innovative life science companies across the medtech, mHealth, pharmaceutical, biotech, nutrition and agri-tech sectors. We have first-hand experience of the I.P., compliance, ethical, regulatory and funding challenges which these companies face and we act for a broad spectrum of researchers, manufacturers, distributors and third-party service providers.
In the knowledge that our clients operate in highly regulated environments and have unique business life-cycles, we realised that understanding their science would be critical to our legal work. In 2011, Kevin Moore became the only lawyer in Ireland or the U.S. selected to participate in the affiliated BioInnovate Ireland and Stanford Biodesign Fellowships earning an MSc in Medical Device Innovation. He then worked in the in-house legal department of a publicly quoted in-vitro diagnostics company before working in commercial law exclusively servicing life science companies.
In 2018, he established DeNovo Legal, our bespoke practice for the life science sector. We have gained a unique understanding of our clients industries and played a key role in the commercialisation of their research and products. We continually strive to learn more about our clients’ industries and technologies.
Kevin Moore also lectures in Medical Device Law and Regulation at NUI, Galway, a module which he created and first began teaching in 2016.
